Developing our fundamental skills!

Today we were using bean bags, scarves and bubbles to develop more skills. We had to balance a bean bag on our head and back and walk around. It was tricky. We also had to manage ourselves and watch bubbles without bursting them. After we watched them we were told to use one finger only to pop them. That took a lot of self management. We loved all of the activities today.

HOLT (Hands on Learning Time) Activity

AUTUMN TREES

In He Puna Oranga (Room 4) we used paint and cotton buds to create an Autumn tree. We chose colours that were like the leaves that we had collected from around our school. We think that they look just like trees in Autumn.

Making sentences!

One of our HOLT (Hands on Learning Time) activities has been to make sentences and read them to a buddy. Cayenne made an enormously long sentence and read it to his buddy! You are a star Cayenne.
