We had a wacky hair day at Carlton School. We took photos of our class and some of the Wacky Hair Day parade and we thought that some people had very wacky hairdos. We hope you like our photos!

My Olympic Story
I think the Olympics are an event when the athletes or Olympians try to get a chance to win a medal. The Olympians or athletes also try their best and persist in the Olympic games to impress the whole world. The athletes or Olympians travel all around the world to compete. The Olympics are also about going there and having a go. I like it when the athletes or Olympians win medals.

Printmaking with our buddies
For the last two weeks room 9 and room 15 have been printmaking. We had to use sponges and choose a background colour. Next we used oval shaped sponges to make to make the body of our insects, cardboard to make the leg shapes and the end of a paintbrush to make the eyes. Our bug prints look amazing. Watch this space for photos of our prints. A big thank you to our buddies for helping us.

Gathering Data Through All Senses
Yesterday Ada and I went outside to take some photos of things we could use our senses for.We both took 2 photos each. I took a photo of an acorn and Ada took a photo of me smelling a plant. The senses are touch, sight, smell, taste and sound. We are learning about the Habit of Mind, gathering data through all senses.
